From Series G to $12.7B Valuation and IPO

Pinterest partnered with MarketStar following their Series G funding round in 2016. We were tasked to develop an Inside Sales and Account Management team to gain new clients, manage top accounts, and increase revenue in a complex North-American advertising ecosystem. The initial Utah-based team of 21 launched in 6 weeks, was trained in 3, and began generating revenue for Pinterest.

Putting the customer first, reps sought to work as consultants with Pinterest clients to help them find success and achieve their business goals.

From 2017 to their IPO in 2019, the team scaled 8x, and has grown to over 300+ team members presently, managing all elements of sales development, inside sales, account management, and customer success. The program generates an average of 11x ROI, even while scaling headcount 25%.
